Warpy no recolecta datos personales. No hay cuentas, analítica, rastreo ni anuncios, y Warpy no tiene servidores que reciban o guarden tus datos. Lo que haces en Warpy —tus eventos, tu colección, tu equipo, tus fotos de fondo— se guarda en tu dispositivo y, si mantienes encendida "Colección en iCloud", en tu propio iCloud (ver abajo).
Lo que la app hace con tus datos
- Calendario, Recordatorios y Contactos. Solo si tú lo pides, y con el permiso de iOS, Warpy lee tu calendario, tus recordatorios o los cumpleaños de tus contactos para que elijas cuáles convertir en cuentas regresivas. De cada uno que eliges guarda una copia como evento tuyo: el título, la fecha y una referencia al original, que usa para volver a leerlo y mantener la copia al día. Esa copia vive en tu dispositivo y, solo si mantienes encendida "Colección en iCloud", también en tu iCloud. Warpy nunca modifica tu calendario, tus recordatorios ni tus contactos, y nada de eso llega a servidores de Warpy.
- Colección en iCloud (desde la 2.2, encendida por defecto, con interruptor en Ajustes). Tu colección con sus ajustes, tus eventos propios (incluidos los que traes de Calendario, Recordatorios y Contactos), tus favoritos y la lista de lo que quitaste (para quitarlo también en tus otros dispositivos) se guardan en el almacenamiento de iCloud de tu Apple ID, para que aparezcan en tus otros dispositivos. Es tu iCloud, protegido por Apple: nosotros no podemos verlo. Las fotos de fondo no viajan. Al apagar el interruptor, lo que este dispositivo subió se borra de iCloud y tu colección queda solo en él; otro dispositivo tuyo con el interruptor encendido puede volver a subir la suya. Esto es sincronización, distinta de la copia de seguridad de iCloud de tu dispositivo, que sigue las reglas de Apple.
- Fotos. Cuando eliges una foto de fondo para un widget, Warpy guarda una copia reducida dentro de la app, en ese dispositivo. Usa el selector de fotos de iOS, que no le da acceso al resto de tu biblioteca. Si guardas una tarjeta para compartir en Fotos, iOS te pide permiso para agregarla; Warpy solo agrega esa imagen y no lee tu fototeca.
- Notificaciones. Los avisos ("faltan 7 días", "en 30 minutos") se programan en el dispositivo. No hay notificaciones remotas.
- Diagnóstico de widgets. Warpy guarda en tu dispositivo una bitácora técnica de los widgets (qué evento mostró cada uno y por qué). No sale de ahí, salvo que tú la compartas desde Ajustes → Acerca de → Diagnóstico de widgets.
Lo único que sale a internet
- El catálogo de eventos. Al abrir la app (como mucho una vez cada tres horas) o cuando pides buscar eventos nuevos, Warpy descarga el catálogo público de fechas de ligas, festivales y estrenos, con su firma, desde un servicio de alojamiento de archivos de terceros. La descarga no lleva ningún identificador tuyo ni nada de tu colección; como en cualquier conexión a internet, ese servicio puede ver la dirección IP desde la que se pide. Los widgets no se conectan a internet.
- Tu iCloud. Con "Colección en iCloud" encendida, iOS sincroniza tu colección con iCloud, el servicio de Apple, bajo tu Apple ID y las condiciones de Apple.
- La App Store. Al comprar o restaurar Warpy Pro, y para saber si te toca el regalo a los primeros usuarios, la app consulta a la App Store tu compra y la fecha de tu primera descarga. Apple firma esa información y la app la comprueba en tu dispositivo; no la mandamos a ningún lado.
- Los enlaces que tú abres. Si tocas "Sitio oficial" en un evento, esa página se abre en tu navegador y se rige por la privacidad de ese sitio.
Nada más sale de tu dispositivo, salvo lo que tú decidas compartir (la tarjeta de un evento, la bitácora de diagnóstico).
Compras
Warpy es gratis. Warpy Pro es una compra única dentro de la app que se hace con la App Store: Apple procesa el pago y Warpy nunca ve tu tarjeta ni tus datos de pago. La app solo sabe si tu Apple ID tiene Warpy Pro, y lo anota en tu dispositivo para que los widgets lo respeten. Los reembolsos los gestiona Apple.
Menores
Warpy no recolecta información de nadie, tampoco de menores de 13 años.

Warpy Privacy Policy

Warpy does not collect personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, tracking or ads, and Warpy has no servers that receive or store your data. Everything you do in Warpy — your events, your collection, your team, your background photos — is stored on your device and, if you keep "Collection in iCloud" on, in your own iCloud (see below).
What the app does with your data
- Calendar, Reminders and Contacts. Only when you ask, and with iOS permission, Warpy reads your calendar, your reminders or your contacts' birthdays so you can pick which ones to turn into countdowns. For each one you pick it stores a copy as your own event: the title, the date and a reference to the original, used to read it again and keep the copy up to date. That copy lives on your device and, only if you keep "Collection in iCloud" on, also in your iCloud. Warpy never changes your calendar, reminders or contacts, and none of it reaches Warpy servers.
- Collection in iCloud (since 2.2, on by default, with a switch in Settings). Your collection and its settings, your own events (including those brought in from Calendar, Reminders and Contacts), your favorites and the list of what you removed (so it is removed on your other devices too) are stored in your Apple ID's iCloud storage so they show up on your other devices. It is your iCloud, protected by Apple: we cannot see it. Background photos do not travel. Turning the switch off deletes what this device uploaded from iCloud and keeps your collection only on it; another device of yours with the switch on may upload its own again. This is sync, distinct from your device's iCloud backup, which follows Apple's rules.
- Photos. When you pick a background photo for a widget, Warpy stores a reduced copy inside the app, on that device. It uses the iOS photo picker, which does not grant access to the rest of your library. If you save a share card to Photos, iOS asks your permission to add it; Warpy only adds that image and never reads your library.
- Notifications. Reminders ("7 days to go", "in 30 minutes") are scheduled on the device. There are no remote notifications.
- Widget diagnostics. Warpy keeps a technical log of the widgets on your device (which event each one showed and why). It stays there unless you share it from Settings → About → Widget diagnostics.
The only things that go online
- The events catalog. When you open the app (at most once every three hours) or ask it to check for new events, Warpy downloads the public catalog of dates for leagues, festivals and premieres, with its signature, from a third-party file hosting service. The download carries no identifier of yours and nothing from your collection; like any internet connection, that service can see the IP address it comes from. Widgets never go online.
- Your iCloud. With "Collection in iCloud" on, iOS syncs your collection with iCloud, Apple's service, under your Apple ID and Apple's terms.
- The App Store. When you buy or restore Warpy Pro, and to check whether the early-supporter gift applies to you, the app asks the App Store about your purchase and the date of your first download. Apple signs that information and the app verifies it on your device; we don't send it anywhere.
- Links you open. If you tap "Official site" on an event, that page opens in your browser and follows that site's privacy rules.
Nothing else leaves your device, except what you choose to share (an event's card, the diagnostics log).
Purchases
Warpy is free. Warpy Pro is a one-time in-app purchase made through the App Store: Apple processes the payment and Warpy never sees your card or payment details. The app only knows whether your Apple ID has Warpy Pro, and notes it on your device so the widgets respect it. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Children
Warpy collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
